Exciting News

Tanner and Case will have a new baby brother or sister joining them sometime in early December. We are very excited about another addition to our family. Tanner has recently told me that he would like 2 babies or even 3. I have told him that he needs to pray and ask Jesus about this :). We will be happy what ever we have. Tanner knew all along that Case was going to be a boy. So we will see what happens with this baby or babies :).

We got home a few days ago from our Easter vacation. We had tons of fun with both sides of our family. We got to go to NJ, MD, PA, and D.C. during our vacation. We got to go to the Strasburg railroad, the train museum, the dinosaur museum, both air and space museums in D.C., and the national zoo. Tanner and Case got to play with all there cousin's and they had a blast. We took tons of pictures of all the fun things we did together.

Case will be 10 months soon which is hard to believe. He has 4 top teeth coming in all at once right now. He seems to be tolerating them coming in well. He is very mobile and gets into everything. He can now let go while standing and stand for a few minutes without holding on. I am sure he will be walking very soon. He is a very happy little guy and has some pretty cute noises he makes to. Case loved being outside in all the warm weather while we were on vacation.

Tanner is getting taller by the minute. When we got to Pop and Granny's house last week the first thing Tanner had Pop do was measure him. Tanner had grown 2 inches since Christmas. He was very excited to see how tall he got. Tanner enjoyed all the warm weather on vacation and was outside a lot playing in the dirt with his cousin's. He still loves going to Awana every Tuesday night and he is working his way through his book. He got to fly his kite while on vacation that his Uncle Ben and Aunt Ainsley gave him for Christmas. Tanner and Daddy had a good time together flying his kite. I am sure we will get much use out of this kite this summer.

Well that's what the boy's have been up to lately. We have been thinking about Lindsay a lot this past few days as 2 years ago yesterday she had her open heart surgery. We miss her like crazy but we know one day we will see her again.

Case is 7 months

I can't believe he is 7 months already. He is growing and changing so fast. The last time he was weighed he was 23lbs and 28 1/2in long. He is eating food now and loves it. We haven't found anything yet that he doesn't like to eat. He loves to play and he and Tanner are forming a very special bond lately. Case lights up when Tanner talks to him. You will often find Tanner wanting Case to play with him or helping with him. I love to watch them play together and listen to Tanner tell him things. I really wish Lindsay was here to also enjoy in this time. She would have been the best big sister. I am sure she watches over both of them and plays right along with them.
Case hasn't started crawling yet but has pulled himself up a few times. He has one tooth on the bottom that came in a few weeks ago. Case is a very smiley baby and will light up when you talk to him. He is becoming a chatter box which is fun to listen to. Case also has finally gotten himself on a good schedule with naps. For a while he wasn't napping very well but now he is.
Thank you for praying for my Aunt Jeanne. She is doing well and had her first chemo treatment last week. Please keep praying for her. I have added her care page on the right hand side. You can check there for more updates.

Case William,
Daddy, Tanner, Mommy, and Lindsay, love you very much. We are so happy you are apart of our family. We look forward to watching you grow each month.

Here are some pictures for you to enjoy from Christmas. I will post another album soon with more pictures.

Please Pray For My Aunt Jeanne

Our family needs your prayers again. We just found out last night that my Aunt Jeanne has Stage IV ovarian cancer. She is my mom's baby sister. My Aunt is very special to me and I love her very much. We know that God is in control of this whole thing and we are going to trust him that she is going to be ok. Please pray for my Uncle Mark and my cousin's Jeff and Megan. She will be meeting with a surgeon on Monday so I will know more then. So check back for more updates. She is not in any pain and she is healthy. We sometimes don't know why these trials come in our lives but we do know that God loves us and only gives us what we can handle. My Aunt said last night that one thing she learned from my Nanny was that even in the hard time we need to be thankful. I am thankful for my Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Mark. They have been big prayer warriors for us during Lindsay's time in the hospital. They came to visit her which was so special to Jon and I. So now it is our turn to be prayer warriors for her.

Aunt Jeanne,
I love you so very much. I am not going to stop praying for you. God is in control of everything that is happening. We pray for peace for you guys and that you will feel God's presence in every step of the way. We support you and we will be there for you when you need us. Thanks for being such a great Aunt to all of us. Our family has some of the greatest memories together that I will cherish for ever.
Uncle Marker( this is what the our kids call him), Jeff and Meg,
I love all so much to. I am praying for strength and for you as you stand with your Mom and support her in every decision that is made.
