Exciting News

Tanner and Case will have a new baby brother or sister joining them sometime in early December. We are very excited about another addition to our family. Tanner has recently told me that he would like 2 babies or even 3. I have told him that he needs to pray and ask Jesus about this :). We will be happy what ever we have. Tanner knew all along that Case was going to be a boy. So we will see what happens with this baby or babies :).

We got home a few days ago from our Easter vacation. We had tons of fun with both sides of our family. We got to go to NJ, MD, PA, and D.C. during our vacation. We got to go to the Strasburg railroad, the train museum, the dinosaur museum, both air and space museums in D.C., and the national zoo. Tanner and Case got to play with all there cousin's and they had a blast. We took tons of pictures of all the fun things we did together.

Case will be 10 months soon which is hard to believe. He has 4 top teeth coming in all at once right now. He seems to be tolerating them coming in well. He is very mobile and gets into everything. He can now let go while standing and stand for a few minutes without holding on. I am sure he will be walking very soon. He is a very happy little guy and has some pretty cute noises he makes to. Case loved being outside in all the warm weather while we were on vacation.

Tanner is getting taller by the minute. When we got to Pop and Granny's house last week the first thing Tanner had Pop do was measure him. Tanner had grown 2 inches since Christmas. He was very excited to see how tall he got. Tanner enjoyed all the warm weather on vacation and was outside a lot playing in the dirt with his cousin's. He still loves going to Awana every Tuesday night and he is working his way through his book. He got to fly his kite while on vacation that his Uncle Ben and Aunt Ainsley gave him for Christmas. Tanner and Daddy had a good time together flying his kite. I am sure we will get much use out of this kite this summer.

Well that's what the boy's have been up to lately. We have been thinking about Lindsay a lot this past few days as 2 years ago yesterday she had her open heart surgery. We miss her like crazy but we know one day we will see her again.

Case is 7 months

I can't believe he is 7 months already. He is growing and changing so fast. The last time he was weighed he was 23lbs and 28 1/2in long. He is eating food now and loves it. We haven't found anything yet that he doesn't like to eat. He loves to play and he and Tanner are forming a very special bond lately. Case lights up when Tanner talks to him. You will often find Tanner wanting Case to play with him or helping with him. I love to watch them play together and listen to Tanner tell him things. I really wish Lindsay was here to also enjoy in this time. She would have been the best big sister. I am sure she watches over both of them and plays right along with them.
Case hasn't started crawling yet but has pulled himself up a few times. He has one tooth on the bottom that came in a few weeks ago. Case is a very smiley baby and will light up when you talk to him. He is becoming a chatter box which is fun to listen to. Case also has finally gotten himself on a good schedule with naps. For a while he wasn't napping very well but now he is.
Thank you for praying for my Aunt Jeanne. She is doing well and had her first chemo treatment last week. Please keep praying for her. I have added her care page on the right hand side. You can check there for more updates.

Case William,
Daddy, Tanner, Mommy, and Lindsay, love you very much. We are so happy you are apart of our family. We look forward to watching you grow each month.

Here are some pictures for you to enjoy from Christmas. I will post another album soon with more pictures.

Please Pray For My Aunt Jeanne

Our family needs your prayers again. We just found out last night that my Aunt Jeanne has Stage IV ovarian cancer. She is my mom's baby sister. My Aunt is very special to me and I love her very much. We know that God is in control of this whole thing and we are going to trust him that she is going to be ok. Please pray for my Uncle Mark and my cousin's Jeff and Megan. She will be meeting with a surgeon on Monday so I will know more then. So check back for more updates. She is not in any pain and she is healthy. We sometimes don't know why these trials come in our lives but we do know that God loves us and only gives us what we can handle. My Aunt said last night that one thing she learned from my Nanny was that even in the hard time we need to be thankful. I am thankful for my Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Mark. They have been big prayer warriors for us during Lindsay's time in the hospital. They came to visit her which was so special to Jon and I. So now it is our turn to be prayer warriors for her.

Aunt Jeanne,
I love you so very much. I am not going to stop praying for you. God is in control of everything that is happening. We pray for peace for you guys and that you will feel God's presence in every step of the way. We support you and we will be there for you when you need us. Thanks for being such a great Aunt to all of us. Our family has some of the greatest memories together that I will cherish for ever.
Uncle Marker( this is what the our kids call him), Jeff and Meg,
I love all so much to. I am praying for strength and for you as you stand with your Mom and support her in every decision that is made.

Perfect Heart For Tanner

We are praising God today that Tanner's heart is perfect and nothing is wrong. His heart murmur is an innocent one and she doesn't need to see him again!!!! The doctor said that the echo pictures were beautiful and so was the EKG. We felt totally peace through out his appointment and we can't thank you enough for praying for him and for us. I had a hard time for a little bit but I was able to pull myself together and stay calm. Everyone that took care of Tanner today took care of Lindsay. And let me tell you they have not forgotten about her. Dr. Gauthier was bursting at the seams when she came into talk with us. The first thing she said was everything is awesome. We are so thankful that nothing is wrong. I have to admit that when we got the news I was a little sad that we didn't get the same news for Lindsay. I know that God's plan for her life is different than Tanner's but it still hit home for me. God still cares for us even though we now how to live the rest of our lives with out her. But I still sit and wonder what she would be doing, what she would look like, how she would be with Case and I could go on. Today at MOPS one of our Moppets workers came up to me and asked how many children I had. She had no idea about Lindsay but I of course was happy to tell her about her. A little while later she came back in the room to talk. She looked at me and said I am so ready to go home. And then she said when I do I will be sure and run to find Lindsay and scoop her up and put her on my knee and take good care of her. Well I about lost it after hearing that. This lady loves little kids and has the best time sitting and holding them or playing with them. I know I look forward to that day to but until then I will cherish all the memories we have with her. She will always be our little Lindsay Bear!

While we were there we were told that Baby Micah was going back to Boston. Please be praying for him and his family. You can follow his blog on the right hand side.

Again we thank you all for your love, support, and most of all prayers. As I sat last night and read all the message from family and friends my heart was soaring knowing that so many of you still follow us and still pray. I don't know what I would have been like today without you all being behind us. Thank you, Thank you. Most of all thank you Lord for being with us today as well as Tanner. Thank you for his perfect heart that you created. And thank you for giving us Lindsay and letting her be apart of our lives for the short time she was with us. Give her lots of extra hugs and kisses for us today. Amen!!!

We Need Your Prayers

Last month I took Tanner for his 5 year old check up. His check up went really well other than they heard a heart murmur. We have found out that this can be very common in boys his age but considering everything we went through with Lindsay we are getting it checked out. His appointment for the cardiologists appointment was is on Dec 2 at 12:45. The appointment was already
set up with and an echo and they will keep that for Tanner. He is going to the same doctor that Lindsay went to which we are very thankful for. We have not told Tanner yet as we don't want to scare him. Please pray for him and that when we do tell him that he won't freak out. Pray for peace of mind for Jon and I. Also pray for the rest of our family as they are worried and scared as well. This has all been hard to handle but we are putting our full trust in God that he is going to take care of us and Tanner. I will keep you updated and let you know how things go.
Thanks again for your prayers.

Birthday Bash

On Saturday October 31, 2009 Tanner had his 5Th birthday party with his friends. We had lots of fun and every one seemed to enjoy themselves. The kids played outside, hit the dinosaur pinata, had cake, fruit on a stick, and opened presents. Pop-Pop, Granny, and Uncle Zach came for the party as well. We took them to Butternut Farms to pick apples and the kids played with them a lot. As you will see by the pictures that Case is changing everyday. He is a smiley baby and is always happy unless he is hungry or needs his diaper changed. Tanner is enjoying being 5 and has be doing awesome with his bible verses for Awana.

We hope you are all enjoying the fall so far. We also hope that you will enjoy looking at the photo album of what the kids have been up to.

Happy 5th Birthday Tanner!!

Well today Tanner has turned 5! I can't believe our baby is 5 and time sure does fly by. Tanner is such a blessing to Jon and I. He has lots of energy, is a smart kid, comes up with great words for things, and has a great memory. He is also a great big brother to Lindsay and Case, and he has a big heart and love for animals of all kinds. We are so thankful that God has chosen us to be his parents. He has been going to AWANA every Tuesday night and he loves it. We are loving how he is memorizing verses for each meeting. It is such a joy to hear him say his verses with such passion.

Tanner, Daddy, Mommy, Windsay, and Case love you very much. We are so proud of the little man that you are becoming. We hope you have the best birthday today.

We will be going to Grandpa and Grandma's tonight for his birthday dinner. We will be having tuna fish sandwiches, doritos's, pineapple juice, salad, and a dinosaur cake. Also at his birthday dinner will be Greg, Carrie, Caleb, Hannah, Isaiah, Terry joining us as well. Look for pictures soon!!
